All emo aside, you know who I love?
Christian Siriano and Brad Walsh.
(If you're not a weirdo like me... This is who Brad Walsh is, and this is Christian Siriano.)
I just adore their relationship - the reality of it, the way they have to balance out press and misconception (mainly through blogs - Brad is very vocal on his own blog and over at his one on Junk Magazine), and from the things they both share about each other, it's obviously a very sweet thing.
Plus, Brad gets offended by the "hot tranny mess" catchphrase, which for some reason makes me love the guy even more.
And then there's Brad's birthday, which has just passed. He posted pictures of a gorgeous bouquet of roses he received from Christian, who hosted his birthday party at the Annex that night. And then we have a blog post from Brad talking about feeling struck full of awe by all the friends he had with him, the people he has in his life, and we get this:
"Christian is a living breathing walking genius who’s somehow in my life and for some reason loves me, and I don’t understand why I’m so lucky but I’m not gonna argue living a dream every day."
And I melt, of course - who wouldn't? - these two have a very sweet, very real thing going, and I love the way they handle it.
